Nia King is a freelance multimedia journalist whose work focuses on political art by people from marginalized communities. She has interviewed over 45 queer artists, transgender artists and artists of color for her podcast We Want the Airwaves and her book Queer and Trans Artists of Color: Stories of Some of Our Lives. She is currently working on Queer & Trans Artists of Color, Volume 2 with co-editor Elena Rose.
